The hard copy comes with a dvd that contains the programs needed to actually use the book.
I assumed, since nowhere on the product page does it state that there is no way to access those programs like a link to a download for them that I would be able to obtain those programs electronically. Conversely, nowhere on the product page does it state that the content from the dvd is not available to download if you purchase the kindle edition. It looked like a great book and I was excited to get it. However, I couldn't use it because the programs I needed to do so were not available.
